From what I've read, this isn't against any rules or even frowned upon, and maybe even common practice. Or?
You’re thinking about it the wrong way, this is meant to be encouraging to their fans. They didn’t top either practice session, apparently because they’re hiding pace.
Ah! I see. Okay, cool. I'm not a fan of theirs or F1 in general so I'm probably very lost here. 😆
