Installed Mint last year on an olg gaming laptop. It runs better than it ever did, and it plays my entire steam library except for Cosmoteer for some sgrange reason.
Meanwhile they continue to fuck Win 11 more and more.
XP was bad enough to make me switch, and it was very arguably the "best" version of Windows ever.
I personally think Windows 7 was the best. Then down hill from there.
2000 was better, but that was an entirely different time.
Seconded on Win2k. I skipped right over XP to 7 on my Windows machine.
IMO Win XP was absolute cinema.
