@okwithmydecay Wouldn't it be funny if they started adding road lanes because of marathons, and not of because of cars? 🤣

@okwithmydecay totally agree with this. The big marathons are luxury goods. I guess there are some people who can't bring themselves to wear anything but designer labels, but the rest of us are just happy to be clothed. When you complete a marathon, the achievement is yours forever. This is true if it's a local marathon with a few hundred runners or World Major with tens of thousands. Would be great to have more "middle" events IMO.

@[email protected] I agree 100%! I'd love to run the majors, particularly London, but these days I find myself loving the smaller races, and that's where I've been getting my PBs. However, a fond memory I do have of running bigger races - Valencia, Berlin, and Amsterdam - is that a whole group of us would run it, and celebrate afterwards.
