I dunno. I’ve been in war and i still have resentment 20 years later for the people who bombed the fuck out of us. And we didn’t have it nearly as bad as those on the line in WWI. It surprises me that not one single soldier killed one of the enemy because even if most could put away their feelings for a night i would assume you’d have at least one guy going “oh, fuck no” and getting stabby.
