yeah I see that sometimes too. Makes me wonder if theres some shadowban logic being implemented. But I do know that implementing a low latency distributed counting service that takes millions of qps is not a trivial technical problem.
My guess would be that they're comments from instances that your instance is not federated with (but the host instance for the thread is)
Is there an instance that is more federated with more instances than others?
