Message from Cego (June 23, 2026): “I’ve been working on a new project for some time now. As a huge Lotus Turbo Challenge fan, this is a project that’s particularly close to my heart. The goal of this project isn’t simply to design yet another so-called “pseudo-3D” or “2.5D” racing game, but to create a worthy successor to the series, one that follows in its footsteps and lives up to this great model. In other words: the driving feel, handling, as well as the look and feel will be faithfully reproduced and improved. The engine already works quite well, but still needs some fine-tuning. Everything is still in alpha and was done quickly. It currently runs at around 30 FPS on the Vampire V2 in Turtle mode on the A1200 (which is roughly equivalent to a 68030 at 50 MHz).”
