lemmy feature or jerboa feature request
Inside jokes farming karma were common in reddit. Is there a way to flag a thread as "inside joke" so that I can auto collapse or filter out comment threads that I don't appreciate?

Inside jokes are part of the glue that makes a community.
You're totally entitled to not liking them, of course, but I fear such a feature is going to see so little use that it's not worth implementing. Could of course just be part of a user-submitted tagging system, where you and the like-minded can tag these for each other.
Client-side filters for comments is a definitely interesting idea though. It doesn't necessarily have to be about inside jokes
Lemmy doesn't track user karma, so is this truly an issue?
