I like that they talked about the difference in how it feels as well. Solo stuff is maintenance and it can get the job done effectively and reliably. It is obviously not as gratifying. I guess this should be obvious but…who wouldn’t want reliable orgasms with a caring partner? Anyway, it’s good to have the data on the books.

There are plenty of asexuals who masturbate but don't want sex with others. Asexuality is about sexual attraction, flicking the bean and choking the chicken don't require attraction. Many other asexuals aren't interested in those activities, but it's not part of the criteria for the label.
