We've had our first major close-in (to the city) fire of the year recently near Spokane, WA, the "Upriver Fire" that caused evacuations and burnt over a dozen homes in a surburban-style development. Plenty more to come I think. What's weird is that so many of these seem to be human-caused, which I take to mean deliberate.
