I though "spring" meant the season lol.
Like a field in the spring with greenery and flowers and stuff, meaning that the town is beautiful.
yeah me too lol :)
but water well makes more sense, considering how important water is for agriculture, and how important agriculture is for people :D
other options include:

(you hope that the city "drowns" in water. because water is a valuable resource on mars, having a lot of it means to have a lot of wealth.)
