No matter how much we may like their games - every studio that pulls shit like this deserves to go bankrupt, and their executives should be in prison.
Why highlight that obsidian denies it? No corporation admits guilt to stealing wages (a category of theft that outstrips every other by a massive margin).
Journalism standards. Whenever you have something bad to say about someone, they're afforded the opportunity to say something about it, even if that's "no comment" or declining to comment. It also conveys the current state of the case, which is that they're fighting it.
I understand it being included in the article. But OP only quoting that part outside of the link seems to be putting a spin on it.
