Post Shave: Stirling Soap Co. - Friends to the End - Balm
Fragrance: Mark Sage - Lockdown - EdP
Razor #2 in my honing extravaganza. After this shave, I've decided to get rid of this razor. I like the scales, so I'll try and harvest them and then safely dispose of the blade.
I used to think I liked this razor, but as things tend to go, I have much better razors to pick from now. Measuring bevel angles recently also puts the thought in my mind that it might not ever work for me, because it's almost a 19 degree bevel. Perhaps I could figure out a way to make it work, but with my other razors working so much better I see no reason to. I'm very glad that I bought it as my first straight, though! I learned a lot about honing from this razor.
Fragrance: Tom Ford - Black Orchid - Eau de Parfum
2 passes. Face lather. Excellent shave.
Bloom is a nice dupe of Black Orchid. I'm always surprised by how masculine this scent comes across for what is obviously a unisex fragrance. Very enjoyable shave with the Vector.
Lotion: Humble Bee Botanicals Calendulove Face Cream
Fragrance: Stirling Hipster EdT
1st pass WTG, 2nd pass XTG. Socially acceptable shave - I didn't have the lather dialed in very well, but I managed to avoid irritation and complete the shave.
A very fast shave before running some errands. Almost forgot to post it.
So this time I stretched the skin around my jaw more upwards and it definitely got me a closer result. We've got quite hot weather here atm and Rope Swing helped nicely by providing at least a little relief. I still need to do my head ASAP.

Fantastic shave. The OC Damaskeene is very mild but still efficient enough to get close results.
