Just started
Ok so I started playing this like 2 days ago and holy hell what a learning curve! But once you got it, you GOT it! My last run was BY FAR my most successful.
Got to the portal walked around, fought like 3 skeletons and said NOPE! went back to lvl 3. I wandered in the cave level till 2 armoured skeletons handed me my ass. What a ride man! All advice is mega welcome
I remember first starting it a while ago, hadn't been immersed in a game world like this since Oblivion almost 20 years ago, despite the topdown perspective. I'd say just take in the atmosphere and play the way you feel like, you'll get better over time.
But if you wanna try something fancy, i remember finding this cool channel, GilGamesHello on YT, which has some tutorials on some specific combat moves :)
I know what you mean, it feels like the first time I played Diablo as a kid. Dark, undead everywhere, and I have no idea what I'm doing! This game slaps. They ever set up multiplayer it's gonna be mega fire
