I support trans rights because they are human rights.
I trust a trans woman in the bathroom more than I trust a cis woman because trans women don’t look at me like I don’t belong, and I’m just a cis lady with short hair who doesn’t always dress feminine. I’ve never been harassed in the bathroom by a trans woman. I have never been harassed in the bathroom by a cis man. I have never been harassed in the bathroom by a trans man. Funny enough, I have been harassed in the bathroom by cis women.
I always think similar to this post’s logic when I hear guys laughing about women with “daddy issues”. Like, don’t you realize it’s not a reflection on women, but a reflection of how fucked up men can be?
Enforcing strict gender roles, monogamy, and heterosexual-ism, allows men to track their heirs, for wealth consolidation and the upholding slavery, capitalism
I like to ask them why their solution to men being dangerous in the women's restroom is to send a subset of women into the men's room where they're at greater risk from men.
They don't think trans women are women. And they don't care if we're at risk, they might even think that's a good thing. Usually they don't actually seem to care about the safety of cis women either, it's just a convenient pretense. And the resulting policies ultimately do hurt both cis and trans women.
Only one main room with sinks ; completely closed stalls with actual walls ; no urinals.
Edit : and also PLEASE put a coat hanger in there ! I dont want to have to choose between holding my coat in my arms, or dropping it on the toilet's floor...
Enough space (1 by 1.5 m, 2.5 m tall), fully enclosed stall.
A sit-down toilet
A box to throw menstrual pads into
A toilet brush for cleaning
A coat hanger at eye height
Plenty of toilet paper, duh
As an accessibility, cleanliness, and efficiency bonus, you could also add for bigger and/or public toilets:
Lowered seat, shuttable arm rests
Foldable changing tables
Hand cream to clean hands (or a proper sink, not a tiny ass one; the towel should be above the sink. Also, if it's a sink, it shouldn't be in an inconvenient spot).
The lights turn on when the door is locked, and turn off only when the door is unlocked.
I'm not defending them here but if this person doesn't understand that they don't believe transgender is a real thing and every person who wants to be transgender is really a cisgender pervert, I'm not sure how clearer they can be?
people mention trans men when its convenient, and its always a kind of pittying misogyny, and also about how shit cis men are
joanne klan rowling announced her support for Transgender Exclusionary Radical Feminism by making a making clear she thinks teenage girls are transitioning to escape men, which she may have also done if someone had been similarly deceived when she was young and foolish, or whatever.
I think there's more to it than that. They think those two are the same but not everyone in their audience might. I think the point is to create guilt by association in the reader's mind. Say those words together enough times and some people will start attributing the assault to the trans woman even if they empirically know trans women and cis men aren't the same
Which is so wild because like, that's a LOT to put ones self through just to perv women. I think it was an SNL or Daily Show bit where they pushed that like, there isn't a bouncer at the door of the women's bathrooms, if some dude just wanted to perv on women he could just, go in. He doesn't need to go and "pretend to be a woman" with all the therapty and medication etc.

This whole argument is stupid. If a cis man is willing to abuse a woman then a “No boys allowed” sign on the door isn’t going to stop them.
At this point I'm not sure they even care if cis men go into the women's room and rape them. They just don't want trans women to exist. Period.
This is how it's always been.
Truth
There's no logic it's all manufactured bullshit
Enforcing strict gender roles, monogamy, and heterosexual-ism, allows men to track their heirs, for wealth consolidation and the upholding slavery, capitalism
read the origin of the family, private poperty, and the state, and trangender warrior

We need to build bathrooms differently.
Only one main room with sinks ; completely closed stalls with actual walls ; no urinals.
Edit : and also PLEASE put a coat hanger in there ! I dont want to have to choose between holding my coat in my arms, or dropping it on the toilet's floor...
Don't forget a box to throw menstrual pads into!
Imho, the ideal bathroom should have:
As an accessibility, cleanliness, and efficiency bonus, you could also add for bigger and/or public toilets:
Or, as I've seen multiple times already, have some stalls with urinals in them.
Had this in a hotel in new York for their shared bathrooms they let me used when I grabbed my bags after checkout.
Absolutely fucking adore the concept, esp. as a trans lady.
Been saying this for years. Couldn't agree more.
Changing the way bathrooms are built can be better for everyone. Changing rooms in gyms too. Let's make these areas more private.

What the actual fuck is that woman's poisoned brain

Also, porn exists and is free.
they also want to force all women to go through police just to go to the loo when the met is the one with an institutional predatory nature.
They want all women to stay in the house and not be able to leave or vote. "Make America Great Again", but only great for white guys with tempers.
Wow! That's a body slam and a half, that one! Woot!
