Yeah, sometimes the literature on replacing a car part or two just isn't as digestible as a 45min video. Same goes for a lot of other breakdowns and such, much easier to see and understand in less time typically.

I would say it depends why one watches YT. Be it to waste time or to get some knowledge on whatever, books have been serving the exact same purpose (and most others) for centuries already. Even 'watching a good fiction'... up until relatively recently that was called 'reading a novel' ;)

There sure are situations where a video is indeed better suited but rather often the book will at least be as good a medium. Opening said book is just not a habit we have... anymore.
