not that i mind third-person at all but even among my little group of irl resi fans there were people (not just me) excited about the first-person pov in the trailer. oh well, still interested to see how it goes!

I'm the opposite. I hate the trend of every horror franchise going first person. First person horror games make me sick. Literally motion sick.

yep that's very fair! i just think options are nice to have either way, i don't think it's great to lock people into first person considering motion sickness is so common.

Horror is really bad about it. They lock it down to a narrow fov for "immersion" and they think it's scarier. In reality it's just sickening.
