In the remote village of Rashuan in Inferia, the protagonist "Reid" and his childhood friend "Farah" meet a girl named "Merdy" from the other world, Celestia, and learn that the "Grand Fall," a collision between the two worlds, is approaching. Reid and his companions embark on an epic journey across two worlds to avert a crisis by borrowing the power of the Great Spirit that governs all phenomena. During their journey, they witness the different values, cultures, thoughts, and ways of life of various people from different worlds, and the protagonist and his companions confront their own inner selves.
