A turn-based Final Fantasy game? In this economy?
Actually quite interested in this. The modern Final Fantasy games have been rather disappointing for me. Good to see them at least showing any amount of interest in giving the fans turn based gameplay and (normal) summons again.
Maybe there’s a shred of hope for some of that coming to the next mainline game, at least as an option. Even after all these years, it doesn't really feel like final fantasy without it.
What's the connection to Brave Exidus here. Never played that game but everyone ist talking about that in the video
I'd keep an eye out for an IGN interview that's supposed to be publishing soon, but this appears to be less like Octopath 0 and more like World of Final Fantasy or Fire Emblem Engage. It'll be a standalone game that uses the BE world as a foundation (along with seemingly a not-insignificant amount of its visual assets and music, too).
Looks like it was a f2p mobile gacha game? Which looks pretty similar to this. Never heard of it, but I’ve never been interested in phone games any more involved than sudoku lol
The Octopath 0 game was a mobile game as well, with maybe some changes. I thought could be the case here as well. If you look at images there are few of the same characters. But is it a remade version, some kind of sequel. That's what i would like to know
