gay marriage is great until you consider the cost of the catenary track.

Oh so if I buy square wheels for my car I can finally ride the roads in my town.

I know we are in shitposting but I can't seem to nail down what fallacy this appeals to. Is this a reduction ab adsurdium or just a strawman?

There are people who try to allude house objects to sexual organs. Like a lock and key or a male end and female end outlet, and how "it makes no sense to have two male end outlets, therefore gay bad."

9

Oh, gotcha, my lock may not fit many keys but I won't disparage anyone from trying

This is how homosexuality feels to me. The people love somebody for whom they are similar to. The "traditional" straight couple just does not feel right to me.

6

Nope, men in one corridor and women in another.

Edit: and there's nothing hypocritical about this, at all.

7

Or, the people love somebody who complements them. Like two poles of a magnet.

There are essentially two styles of bonding: either having the similarity to share the experience and background and more readily understand each other, or having one complement another, so that one covers where another cuts short.

Imagine two people liking the sun vs one liking the sun and another liking the rain. In the first couple, they will be happy to share the sunshine, but will both be depressed when the rain comes. In another, one will energize from the sun, keeping another in an upbeat mood, and the other will get all cozy in the rain, bringing cocoa, plaids and love. Both are cool in their own right.

6

This is why I just can’t support straight people. Their choice of lifestyle just isn’t natural.

this post is wrong in two ways and im glad you pointed out the first one
