In my isolation life, I find I am much more interested in series than in films. I wonder if that's correlation or causation; more specifically, I wonder if it's because isolation means when I find characters I enjoy, I want to hang out with them for more than 90-120 minutes.

@ShaulaEvans @LonelinessCorps I, too, prefer series (both TV and books) over standalone movies or books.

For me, it's largely because I'm more confident that I'll enjoy what I'm watching or reading, due to having liked previous installments. With standalone stories, it feels like I'm gambling.

@ShaulaEvans @LonelinessCorps I am not in isolation. But I have realised that I like hanging out with the characters I care about. Book series, TV series - anything with a good ensemble vibe and some character development.
Movies are over too quickly. I want to know what happens AFTER the happy ending.
