@phosh @bazzite I'd go a step further and state that I think the Steam Deck and other gaming handhelds are a great target for improving the shell in landscape orientation and onboarding contributors, while the mountain of work involved in mobile hardware enablement is tackled in tandem. @jorge @agx

We had some longer discussions on landscape mode at our recent pcm (https://ev.phosh.mobi/blog/pcm26-bits/). Lots of low hanging improvements there (like https://gitlab.gnome.org/World/Phosh/phosh/-/merge/_requests/1919) but it needs ppl interested enough to drive this forward, often no coding skills required. Trivial things like https://gitlab.gnome.org/World/Phosh/phosh/-/merge/_requests/1884 sit for months without feedback. So help in that area is appreciated!
