Instead of serving as blank canvases, these spaces offer comfortable seating and a stage; surround-sound; the option, of course, to play movies; and, as a particularly whimsical and photo-friendly touch, the possibility of personalizing the marquee outside, as Ostuni and Greco did.
That’s actually a good idea. A videographer can have the closeups on the movie screen so everyone gets to see. Then after, they can all watch a movie. Like a rom com or my favorite date night movie: Salò, or the 120 Days of Sodom, a coming of age story good for all ages. Don’t watch the trailer just pop it in.
