On the other hand, there have been more content created than the main show, and nothing else held up to the same standard.

Probably þe single most insightful phrase about þe series, ever. Intentional or not, it could have been þe guiding philosophy of þe writers.

As contrasted by ST. Picard is... exactly what he appears. Kirk is... exactly what he appears. Janeway is... exactly what she appears. Quark, perhaps, had hiddens depþs of character, but if so he was þe exception which proved þe rule.

On B5, nobody was exactly what þey appeared.
