Nah, I distinctly remember my little brother rage-crying when he spilled his milk over himself at breakfast as my mom comforted him and helped him clean up.
My "no need to cry over spilled milk" comment was NOT appreciated
relatable. I have really inconsistent problems with coordination so sometimes i move a bit too quickly and a plate of food or whatever goes FLYING and i just stand there for a minute calmly but firmly going "fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuck youuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu get fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuucked" until the blazing rage has vented itself
It's usually something like, "My parents didn't treat me any better so I can't be blamed for not being a better parent, especially in a new country". I can understand why they are like that, but it doesn't erase the trauma or what it did to me.
My dad would have shouted about being more careful and not wasting food you ungrateful kid. What a worthless child. Doesn't know why you're like this, he wasn't like this when he was younger. Clean it up.
If she started to dance around with the bottle of milk, spraying it everywhere and then go for the cereal plbox for part two, well yeah, then some yelling may be needed.
One of the very few things that made my mom angry was wasting or damaging things through carelessness. Once I brought a snake into the house, it got loose, and we never caught it. My mom, who was afraid of snakes, just asked me to promise not to do that again. But she would have been angry if I dropped a bowl of food. (Well, maybe she wouldn't have been when I was a toddler. I can't remember that far back.)

How would your parents have reacted in a scenario like this? | Spyke

I can't st+ it
Born to math. Forced to English.
They weren't crying because the milk spilt, they were crying because you can't control your rage

And now my parents wonder why we aren't closer and why I don't share more with them.
"I think I may not of treated you the nicest growing up"

My parents were not psychopaths, nor were either milk, cereal, or bowls very significant purchases.
Count yourself lucky
Mom would've pointed out that I spelled "yelling" incorrectly.
Laughed and then had me clean up the mess. Then explain that I should be more careful.

Why would anyone tell over an accident?

But for a simple "I tripped"?
My mom would have told me that I was the reason we couldn't have nice things.
