The women were absolutely going along with Trump's destructive efforts, and the insinuation to the contrary is insulting. The problem is that they were chosen by Trump, and thus, like all of Trump's appointees, weren't competent. Sure, plenty of incompetent men remain, but their days are numbered as well. Trump's first term makes clear that no one stays in their high profile position for long.

The way I read it, is that it wasn’t that the women’s goals were against the larger fascist movement; the problem is that they were women and they were getting attention for anything they did at all; and that meant less airtime for Trump or his male cohorts.

Only strong men like Pete Hegseth are allowed on the news. We like Jeanine Pirro because she mostly stays out of the way.” type of shit.

But it certainly can be read the way you interpreted it too, and if that’s what the author meant then I fucking disagree completely; they were horrible fascist beasts like the rest of em

Yeah, that guy is sexistly incorrect. This is sexiestly incorrect:

I really don't think this is a gender thing. Trump appoints whomever is on his mind and will take the job at the time. They do what he says, praise him, suck whatever bribes and money they can, and when they get caught in too big of a contradiction they get let go. They're entirely disposable.

I thought there were some men he fired. Maybe they weren't in the cabinet? Mike Waltz, Gregory Bovino come to mind. (I'm not saying he isn't sexist, I just don't understand the post.)

Those weren't cabinet members. There are still three female cabinet members so we'll see if the trend holds lol.

here’s the problem: they’re not women, or men, they are capitalists above all else. there is only profit to these fucking monsters.

There are plenty of capitalists out there that aren't raving sociopaths bent on supporting an authoritarian government. Capitalism is just as likely the reason as bottled water consumption. It offers no diagnostic value here because it's the default of most of the population.

there are exactly zero capitalists who won’t choose authoritarian governments they can purchase to help profits, instead of choosing to support working class people.

It’s actually only currently the most popular system, but it is not a human “default.” at all.

And there are exactly a non-zero number of Communists and socialists that will choose an authoritarian government. We have historical precedence for this.

two things can be true at the same time. your point?

That claiming that capitalism is the main source of their sociopathy is faulty despite plenty of sociopaths existing in non capitalist systems and that if their hypothesis was correct then the vast majority of people in capitalist would be these power mad sociopaths. Which, if true, would have collapsed society a long time ago.

they are capitalists though. that’s my entire point.

Your first comment: "they are capitalists above all else"

I disagree. They are sociopaths first. They would be sociopaths in Stalin's Russia or in Pol Pots killing fields. The economic system isn't what dictates their love of dictators.

At least we still have Linda McMahon! Though I figure she'll leave once she's done shutting down the dept of education

"Released" is a weird choice of wording.

Give him time. Bonespurs' first-term cabinet firings were all men:

Mark Esper
Rex Tillerson
Jeff Sessions
John Kelly
Jim Mattis
Ryan Zinke
David Shulkin
Tom Price
Herb McMaster
Reince Priebus

2

Guy said mention instructions of men. It should read "mention the men". The rest is just holding to that error.
