The problem is that they were chosen by Trump, and thus, like all of Trump's appointees, weren't competent. Sure, plenty of incompetent men remain, but their days are numbered as well. I really don't think this is a gender thing. Trump appoints whomever is on his mind and will take the job at the time. They do what he says, praise him, suck whatever bribes and money they can, and when they get caught in too big of a contradiction they get let go. They're entirely disposable.

There are plenty of capitalists out there that aren't raving sociopaths bent on supporting an authoritarian government. Capitalism is just as likely the reason as bottled water consumption. It offers no diagnostic value here because it's the default of most of the population.
