Hello, everyone! I'm going to try and start doing what I can to restore some of the native ecology here by bringing in plants that are native to Merced County. I'm looking for some unmaintained lots/greenways/embankments that would be suitable, and I was wondering if anyone had some suggestions.

The best sites will:

• not be mowed
• be irrigated, but not heavily; most non-native species will not be able to tolerate the lack of water, where native species get pretty upset if they're watered any more than sparingly
• get partial sun to full sun
• should not involve removing existing plants
