What's the solution to Netflix's second screen stuff from a Marxist perspective?

"Second screen" is when you're watching something, but you're also on your phone which means that the show or film you're watching had to explain what's going on (so you don't have to explain the plot or even much of it) - the kind of stuff that Netflix have been putting out lately. I wanna hear your thoughts on that.

What does Marxism have to do with not focusing your attention on one thing at a time? This would be an issue only if Netflix was somehow forcing you to only have 1 screen on at once to force you to pay attention to their content. But not a social economic issue.

When you are on your phone and watching a TV show it means you are not watching either.

So the Marxist perspective of someone not watching two things at the same time is the same as a capitalist pig’s perspective.

It is a really silly and annoying thing to do.

I'd like to see answers to this question, but the people on Lemmy who would have the most knowledge of this aren't going to be hanging out in .world.
