In an example clip shared by Amazon of the new Alexa Podcasts feature, the two AI-generated hosts discuss “the latest music releases.” A male Alexa+ narrator says more than 50% of music listening now comes from unsigned artists. “The monoculture is just gone,” a female-voiced Alexa+ narrator chimes in.

Pretty ironic this essentially exists to end it's podcasting equivalent...

Oligarchs don't want a shit ton of podcasters with medium audiences, it's not convenient to control messaging.

They always want a "top-down" approach with a few people wielding large amounts of influence and power. By removing humans and having AI produce content, they 100% control the entire product. And can make a thousand different versions to give the illusion of choice and variety.

But everything is always going to come thru that pro-corporate filter. The AI hosts will never go "off topic" and rant about something effecting all of us negatively so oligarchs can benefit. And anyone that doesn't see how they're eventually start putting in pro-oligarch propaganda is woefully naive

Even if the people in charge of it aren't doing it intentionally, Bezos will steer them in that direction
