Why is "Active" unavailable on Piefed?
"New Comments" is equivalent to the "Active" sort on the official PieFed frontend.
On Lemmy, "Active" uses a more complicated algorithm that takes multiple factors into account, similar to "Hot". We chose to keep the sort names consistent between Lemmy and PieFed accounts within Mlem. This comes at the cost of being inconsistent with the PieFed frontend.
