Organic Maps useful Transit update

Organic Maps has a useful new Public Transit feature now. I really hope the CoMaps community will develop something similar soon. Video

Yeah the data is all there (in osm) and there has been a largely unused underground map layer for years. The map downloads might get a bit bigger to allow this but i think it would be worth. Just showing the transport lines would be nice, routing would be the cherry on top.
I've never understood what butthead decided to specifically filter out one type of public transit and drop the rest. Like if it didn't show bus lines, only rail, alright. But only one single type of commuter rail?
Probably just some random github contributor that had an idea but not enough time to fully develop it, so it just stayed there unchanged for years.
yea, the Metro Layer always teases and then dissppoints me, as I am almost never in a City with a Metro
