Finished reading The Hermit of Eyton Forest by Ellis Peters, a mediaeval whodunnit as the cover advertises. It was a comfortable read, with several kind and clever characters. Should I ever see any more in thrift stores I may pick up more of the series.
I went investigating after and saw that the books have been popular enough to have a TV show made in the nineties too. The book I read was not adapted though.

I have another book in different series by the author but not going to get to it just yet, I have some library books I am going to at least stare at a bit.
