I think there is a community to ask for the abandoned ones and yeah I've been here handling Cocktails since that mod disappeared, and the hair one, it has been a joy compared to moderating on Reddit- literally less than ONE mod action per year. This one is so dead but still seems better to have someone who can take down posts, etc, and the spicyjimmy user hasn't posted in years. I can help but don't want to be a main mod of another community.
If you walk me through the process of how to take it over, and spicyjimmy87762 does not protest due to disinterest or disconnect, I'm happy to take the #1 slot. I'd definitely grow this place - especially if you're willing to help.
I PM'ed spicyjimmy87762 just after writing the above comment; maybe we'll hear from them.
I'll be honest, I'm less enthusiastic about running a subreddit underneath someone as I've been burned by top mods lording over me working for their benefit before.
Just to clarify, I'm not worried about the workload; I've put in quite a bit of effort to moderate such spaces before.
I just don't really want to do the contributing I was planning if someone else can unilaterally kick me off the team at any time for any or no reason.
As an example, I currently moderate under someone else on another platform who has done literally nothing for years but come in every two weeks to Remove->Approve(x5) to hit the minimum activity levels set by the admins. Oh, and the occasional permanent ban of someone with no activity there and no explanation.

I love their food but only catered for a group so you can get a variety.
Also, should we take over this community? The original mod has disappeared.
I wouldn't know the first thing about taking over a community. Are you sure they're gone and not just not posting any more?
I've soured on /r/tampa lately and would happily work to run this ship if /u/spicyjimmy87762 is actually gone.

We are added as moderators now.
Oh, sweet!

No worries, I have only had to moderate thrice on the Cocktails one and it's a lot busier!
