8GB of VRAM just isn't worth it. Hold onto what you got for now.
It really depends on the price if it's worth it. If they can get this thing down to like $200, it could be a really budget card.
8GB graphics cards, it it 2016 again?
2016 was a pretty good year by PC component standards, just before crypto got big, and then the COVID spike and AI now fueled priced increases.
We also got the 1080 in 2016 which I would argue is probably one of the best high end GPU products from both an absolute performance and price to performance ratio.
