So, who got back in the game recently? How'd it go?
I recently recovered my 17 year old account (which was an adventure of its own, as the internet provider the email was created on closed around those years, but back on point) !
It's great to be back, but also a bit overwhelming : trying to remember what I was doing, the characters, quest lines, the builds, heroes, equipement...getting property wrecked trying to do a mission...
As returning players how did you approach this? Any advice?
I started over with a new character, starting from Prophecy.
Well, I also did that! Then I saw the Legendary Defender of Ascalon title and then my fresh Elementalist was stuck in Eden farming XP... (I may have a problem xD)

I had my 21-year-old account recovered and linked to my Guild Wars 2 account! It was much less painful than I thought and support was super helpful.
I don’t think I’ve played the game much in the day. I have a level 10 role playing character and that is it, haha. I also started fresh in Prophecies as a necromancer. I think I’ll get Mesmer as a second profession.
Playing on a gamepad works pretty well, once you get used to it. I’m curious how the mobile game will play.
