haha. I am not sponsored. Just a fellow 3DS (and DS) owner that would share a helpful tip. The DSPico also works on the 3DS for playing DS games 😉.
For the 3DS in particular you want to look at a Custom Firmware (CFW) to get the most out of it. Plenty of videos and instructions online, but let me know if you would like to know more.
i did install something like that on my other 3ds. it worked for a while and gave me free games, but now it wont boot any more...
Bummer. Could be a couple of things, maybe the battery died?
If it is a software issue you can look around on their troubleshooting section. They even have a Discord so you can ask directly.

DS may not have the best camera, but it had to be best memories
i didnt get the 3DS until later, but i had the DS Lite when i was a kid, and i remember playing so much phantom hourglass, to equal parts joy and frustration
