I'm back at it taking Chinese lessons again. My teacher was like, hey you know a lot of characters and your pronunciation is very good. I said it should be, I've been learning it for 18 years. This is my 5th time starting over and it takes me a while to re-remember it.
Depending on how good your life is, it could be a curse or a blessing. But still, I think that even bad memories shape the person you are now. To forget the pain is like losing part of yourself.
