The golden age of game development is over, large corporations have suceeded in sabotaging the labour foundations of the industry through repeated, forceful dysfunctional shocks and game developers failed to organize before it was too late.
Is there such a thing as "too late" when organising? I'm pretty sure the OG union workers faced much worse conditions than game devs today. We can still do this.
Anyone here in the UK? I'm curious if the market is God for job seekers or if this is just more excuses to offshore jobs to cheaper areas? Fingers crossed....
