This is cool overall though. ZSNES was always my favorite emulator because it ran well and had great quality of life features. e.g. Fast-forward and rewind make a massive difference in old RPGs, so I'm glad those eventually caught on in other emus lol

Thanks to the info by a commenter in the other thread: Linux version is now out. Still Unity, still proprietary.

It's proprietary? That blows. I would be content with that OSS ZSNES remake if not for the fucked up audio. It's such a cozy app.

Hopefully the concepts of Super ZSNES will as well but that time as proper FOSS without Unity crap.

Did it really need to move the power to the GPU?

For the stuff explained in the video: yes. For regular emulation: no.
