There is a type of beetle grub used as reptile food that some people call a morio worm, you could fairly easily set up a colony of those if you need something morio.

I think that depends what you consider a bug. I thinj Mario not being present makes sense as he's dead. The princess was saved even though Mario died, so I think it's reasonable to say the win condition is met. What I think is definitely a bug is that you can hear the death sound way late (a 2nd time) when you do this (jump and hit the axe at the same time bowser touches you).

It's a testament to the quality of the programming and testing that they show Mario on the screen only if he's still alive. It would be easier to just show him without conditions.

It's not a different screen in SMB1. After you hit the axe, Mario walks to the right and the screen scrolls until the castle is off screen, revealing Peach and the ending text. It's functionally just part of the level.

Also I'm pretty sure Morio falls under the screen when he dies, but still exists there and can be controlled under some circumstances.

Wait why isn't this so-called screenshot made out of pixels, did you AI generate this shit? If so why?

Also if it's somehow real I'm curious to know what would happen if you press the button to continue.

This is slop. Or a sloppified screenshot. Why?

Are you familiar with scaling shaders? There are several that are designed specifically to round out pixels, like superSAI, XBR4x, or HQ4x.

Personally I think they’re hideous, but some people do use them. It’s not AI.

These upscaling filters have been around for 20+ years. They're not AI.
