I have zero doubt that if it goes through (which it probably will given all the bribes they openly gave to the orange turd) then this will become a very large corner of very hardcore pro-conservative media and propaganda.

All the modern stuff is already braindead so this isn't a loss from my perspective. That's just Star Trek though, they'll own too much as one company. I hate capitalist consolidation.

If this merger would finally put star trek to rest in piece, I'd be all for it.ivr spend a decade watching star trek being dragged through the mud, it's a clown show at this point (seriously, what the frack were they thinking with Starfleet academy?)

Either that, or they do a complete reboot where we all collectively act as if that Kelvin universe crap never happened, that'd be fine too
