Are these planted? I can't imagine that a natural place would have such a monoculture. It is very pretty though.

Japan barely has any untouched nature. Almost everything in the country is planted. Even the trees deep in the mountains, they're almost all plantations, a monoculture of fast growing pine.

Which is why hay season is really bad there. All the monoculture trees bukkake at the same time.
