Brush: Wolf Whiskers - "Gianmaria" w/Maggard 26mm Synthetic
Razor: GEM Micromatic Open Comb
Blade: Personna GEM PTFE (4)
Lather: Summer Break Soaps - Woodshop - Soap
Post Shave: Stirling Soap Co. - Varen - Aftershave
Post Shave: Zingari Man - The Stargazer - Aftershave Serum
Shaved late today because I was busy finishing up my model airplane. I took it to the field and had two great flights with it. It was a little windy for a maiden flight, but I decided to go for it anyway. It flies great!
The MMOC was a dream today. Super comfortable and efficient. I ordered one from VisceralWatch so I can give it to a friend of mine at the meetup this weekend. He has never used a GEM before.
Razor: Iwasaki 6/8" Half Hollow Square Point Tamahagane
Lather: Subtle Art Soap Co. - Draconis Noctem - Soap
Toner: Thayers - Coconut - Toner
Aftershave: Subtle Art Soap Co. - Draconis Noctem - Aftershave
2 passes. Face lather. Excellent shave.
This was my first use of Draconis Noctem. Great soap base, as always, and this scent (with sandalwood, whiskey, tobacco, vanilla, oud, etc.) is right in my wheelhouse.
Lotion: Humble Bee Botanicals Calendulove Face Cream
Fragrance: Stirling Deton-8 EdT
1st pass WTG, 2nd pass WTG. Over all a pretty good shave, but I think I overdid it on the water.
I have really been enjoying this brush now that my bowl is an appropriate size. It does take a lot more soap than the synthetic brushes I have, but I'm thinking it's worth it as the natural fibers speak to my granola soul 😆

That's awesome! It also looks quite large from this angle.
How do you transport it? Does it fit in a car?
It has about a 6.6 foot wingspan, and it's about 6' from spinner to tail.
The wings come off for transport, and the fuselage fits just barely in my car :-)
The important question: does walden junior fit into the cockpit?
Not even close! But not for lack of trying.
It will become more difficult every day - clearly a now or never type of affair
