Ukraine should understand that at this point, the US is not a friend of Ukraine.
Until the end of Donald's term they can only rely on their other friends.
They understand that very well, but to keep up the appearances force the US government to either reaffirm their commitment or look like the traitors they are. Ukraine should never give Trump excuses to drop support, even if it is just theater.

Complete tangent, why is it English speakers cannot say Kyiv? I mean, I hear national figures say "Keev", that's not the word, it's Kyiv. How hard is that to say?
Same reason as why English speakers say "Finland" instead of "Suomi", why French say "Allemange" instead of "Deutchland", why Swedes say "Helsingfors" instead of "Helsinki", why Finnish people say "Kiova" instead of "Kyiv" etc.
