Personally, I'd rather the sun rise at 9:30 in the winter, than 4:30 in the summer.

As much as I want to give credit where it's due, I feel this is less because of the UCP wanting to do the "right" thing (better than time switches, but not as good as permanent standard), I feel this was only done because of the changes made in B.C. and Saskatchewan, and the new "time warp" phenomenon happening for people on trucking routes and the Trans Canada
