Caddy Install
Going to be setting up Caddy for the first time as a reverse proxy. Anyone used it on Freebsd, and if so experienced any quirks with it?

I have used it, but to be fair an LLM did most of the heavy lifting. Specially if you use context7 MCP
No issues so far
My install went well, to the point where I was certain I must have missed some steps. I'm going to test some static page hosting on it too. If all goes well it will be my choice for basic web hosting going forward.
Good luck, haven't faced any issues with caddy so far
pkg install caddyand followed don't make it run as root instructions that flashed on screen.I use it only for static hosting and some proxy on simple setups. For complex sites though that need more, I usually still use Apache. Never had enough issues with Apache to try Nginx.
so for me.. Caddy -- simpler sites and basic proxy Apache -- everything else
