So if she really wanted my attention while I was busy with something, she would meow loudly while reaching for them with one paw and maintaining eye contact with me.

I remember when those blinds used to cost $5. I went through so many of those. Because you get what you pay for, they get destroyed so easily. But I bet they cost a lot more than that nowadays. Everything costs too much these days.
