Why does the forumverse focus so much on the news?

Please explain. If you see too much news, block them, and post in other communities.
My all feed can empty pretty quickly when I turn on the politics/news filter, I just wish there were more chill posts.
I agree, I could post more hobby stuff though one person can only output so much.
True. It would be nice to see some more variety. I know we can filter posts or manage our feeds but there isn't as much activity outside of news and politics. Seems like anyways.
I filter all news. Personal feeds definitely help
I never see news. Sound like a problem with your subscription list.
