Esoteric Ebb review - camp and cutting political comedy in a D&D Disco Elysium wrapper
Weaving Pratchett, Gilliam and more, Esoteric Ebb is a comedic, politica D&D adventure about a waylaid Cleric, a crime, and the world's first election.

Hands down, one of the best games I've ever had the privilege to play, and I've been hooked since first access. π€π»β¨
100% agreed. I played the demo before release right on the heels of finishing Disco Elysium and I knew it would be one of the rare games that gets purchased on the day of release. Absolutely worth the cost and I really hope the developer keeps the project going and expands the playable aspects of this game-world with some form of DLC expansions or even a sequel. Unfortunately, the development cycle for E-Ebb was around 8 years so I am not expecting anything soon.
I mean... The poor bastard barely survived the gestation of it. I hope, for his sake at least, that he gets more talented help from here on out. ππΌπ₯³ππΌ
