I bought an Apica A6 notebook in a store today
I've bought plenty of Apica notebooks from Jetpens; I didn't think any local stores had them, though. But, at the bookstore today, they had a bunch of them available. Turns out that one of the employees is a fan of fountain pens (who'da thunk), and recommended that they start carrying Apicas.
I've also never used an A6 before. It looks like a more usable size than I thought it would be.
I've never seen the brand before, but it looks really pretty! I like the design a lot.
A6 is not my usual size either, but it is surprisingly usable. I still prefer the larger sizes, but it's nice to have one or two lying around. It's a good size to carry in a handbag or even jacket.
I love the somewhat formal design on the cover, it's a nice change from the minimalism that most of my other daily items have, and pairs nicely with a fountain pen. The paper is great for fountain pens, too. Very smooth, but still dries reasonably fast.
I'm definitely liking the A6 size so far. I also have the same notebook in an A4 size, and it's like these two are the perfect combo.
