Lol "native-like", ok. From their github: "ZapZap is developed as a Progressive Web Application (PWA), built with PyQt6 + PyQt6-WebEngine." So it's an embedded web browser, so no video calls and you'd get the same result going on whatsapp on your browser and going "install as app".

oh, you're right. well sorry. I use it so little to be honest, but I'll keep an eye out for other stuff, but that's as good as it gets atm on linux again.

I guess you could use waydroid and install the android app :p

make everyone to use signal by any means and sudo pacman -S signal-desktop /s

as an answer for your question , I actually stopped using whatsapp altogether just because of this, anyway signal is good only problem is you have to get everyone to text you on signal.

Nope, 'tis a web-based video calling platform that doesn't allow doing video calls through a web browser. All clients on Linux are just embedded web browsers.
